Und wieder einmal stand eine englische Lektüre auf dem Plan und da ich gerade im "Fear Street"-Fieber bin, war klar, dass ich auch hier direkt in den nächsten Teil abtauche, der im deutschen übrigens "Mörderische Verabredung" heißt. Während die anderen Teile recht einfach zu lesen waren, empfand ich gerade ein paar Vokabeln hier als schwieriger. Dennoch konnte ich hier aber recht schnell in die Geschichte abtauchen und habe mich in dieser bitterbösen Geschichte verloren!
And once again there was an English reading on the schedule and as I am currently in "Fear Street"-fever, I wanted to read the next part. While the other parts were quite easy to read, I just found a few vocabulary words here more difficult. Nevertheless, I was able to dive into the story quite quickly and lost myself in this bittersweet story!
- Brady -
Hier haben wir zum ersten Mal einen Charakter, der nicht ganz so sympathisch sein soll. Brady ist ein Aufreißer, der schöne Mädchen mag. Nach dem Tod seiner Freundin ist er nun mit Allie zusammen, lernt aber zu Beginn der Geschichte die perfekte Rosha kennen. Er kann ihr nicht widerstehen und es wird schnell klar, dass er alles, wirklich alles für sie tun wird ...
This is the first time we have a character who is not supposed to be that sympathetic. Brady is a Womanizer who likes beautiful girls. After the death of his girlfriend he is now together with Allie, but gets to know the perfect Rosha at the beginning of the story. He can not resist her and he will do everything, really everything, for her ...
"The Perfect Date" beginnt bereits sehr spannend mit dem tragischen Tod von Bradys Freundin Sharon. Ein Jahr später hat Brady diesen Unfall allerdings vergessen und ist mit Allie zusammen. Blöd nur, dass ihm urplötzlich die perfekte Rosha über dem Weg läuft und dass es in ihrer Nähe zu seltsamen Zwischenfällen kommt!
"The Perfect Date" begins very exciting with the tragic death of Brady's girlfriend Sharon. One year later Brady forgot about the accident and has a new girlfriend called Allie. Bad, that suddenly the perfect Rosha runs across his path and that there are strange incidents in her vicinity!
Für mich war diese Geschichte eine der stärksten aus der Fear Street-Reihe, denn es geht hier wirklich sehr unheimlich zu. Nicht nur Rosha verhält sich hier sehr seltsam, nein, in Bradys Nähe taucht auch immer wieder ein Mädchen mit Narben auf.
For me, this story was one of the best of the "Fear Street"-series, because it has a very creepy atmosphere. Not only does Rosha behave very strangely here, no, in Brady's vicinity, a girl with scars appears again and again.
Beim Lesen hatte ich hier wirklich eine Gänsehaut und war wirklich gebannt von der Story. Natürlich ist Brady hier aber kein Protagonist, mit dem man mitfiebert. Ganz im Gegenteil. Im Grunde wollte ich, dass er hier bestraft wird, denn er hintergeht hier nicht nur seine aktuelle Freundin, nein, er scheint auch um seine verunglückte Freundin nicht zu trauern.
While reading, I really had goosebumps and was really banned from the story. Of course, Brady is not a protagonist here to cheer on. But on the contrary. Basically, I wanted him to be punished here because he does not only cheat on his current girlfriend here, no, he does not seem to feel bad about the loss of his girlfriend.
Das Ende ist passend und doch ungewohnt für ein Buch der "Fear Street"-Reihe. Hier gibt es nämlich eher eine paranormale Auflösung, die für mich aber absolut stimmig war. Ein tolles Jugendbuch, das sich auch auf englisch gut lesen lässt!
The end is great, but unusual for a book of the "Fear Street" series. There is more of a paranormal resolution here, which was absolutely consistent for me. Its a great youth book that can be read well in English!
"The perfect Date" hat die perfekte "Fear Street"-Atmosphäre und hat mich wieder in meine Jugend katapultiert! Spannend, unheimlich und fesselnd!
